Florida’s Sports Coast Marketing Matching Sponsorship Program

Are you working to grow your special, non-sporting event in Pasco County – like an art show or music festival – and could use some financial assistance?  We’re here to help!

Experience Florida’s Sports Coast, the destination management organization for Pasco County, is launching the 2023-2024 Marketing Matching Sponsorship Program (MMSP) aimed at promoting an artistic, cultural or unique experience that’s not sports-related.  These types of events have the potential to attract visitors to our destination, and the MMSP provides up to $5,000 to expand the marketing reach of your event to people outside the Tampa Bay area.

How to apply:

• Applicants are required to attend a one-on-one session before funding is approved.  Contact us by June 5 to register for your session: 727.847.8129 | cbsanchez@FLSportsCoast.com

• Applicants must also give an oral presentation to the Tourist Development Council August 16.

Requirements:

• Event must take place between October 1, 2023,and September 30, 2024

• Dollar-for-dollar match and/or in-kind goods or services

• MMSP funds are for event-related marketing expenditures only

• Marketing dollars must be used to promote to tourists outside of Pasco County
