Walgreens, a sponsor of Citrus County Walk Aware for Alzheimer’s, will be on site to offer flu shots to walkers or spectators alike.  The event, which will raise funds for the non-profit Alzheimer’s Family Organization, will be conducted in Floral City on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Opening ceremonies will take place at the Town Center at 9 a.m. for walkers who will have their choice of a scenic walk on the Withlacoochee State Trail or a historical walk through old Floral City, including its famous Avenue of Oaks.

Walkers can register the morning of the event or in advance on line at www.alzheimersfamily.org/walkaware/, or call 352-616-0170 or 352-422-3663.
