  1. Where in citrus county is a Food for Florida disaster center? I missed the one at Central FL community college. I’ve already preregistered. I have a family of 4 and lost all our food.

  2. My family was one of the affected families in Pinellas County there was only one site for food for Florida in Seminole we do not have our own transportation I have a three-year-old child after three attempts to get from South Saint Petersburg to Seminole Florida to get to the food for Florida site I was turned away once due to extreme heat temperatures once because they ran out of parking spaces, after I begged for a ride to get there… so they were instructing people to leave their vehicles on the sides of the road and walk miles down which I again could not do with a three-year-old the very last day we went out again only to be turned away at the traffic light stating they were not taking anymore people at 4:30 p.m. so we are a family who did not receive any help whatsoever after several attempts to try and call the proper authorities to get assistance we were turned away as well I am a very appreciative for those who were assisted however we were not so we will remain without food until further notice thank you very much food for Florida

    1. Oh no. Your story breaks my heart. Do you still need help? Maybe some of us NatureCoasters can help you.

      1. I am sorry to have saddened your heart as my only intentions were to be a heard voice. I was able to get a couple of days worth of food from a friend who is also having difficulties. It gives me a great feeling to know that there are people like you who care enough to offer any help they can…stranger or not. You are very much appreciated

        1. So are you Pamela. I will be praying for blessings for you and your family. If you change your mind, send me an email. Xxoo

          1. Thank you as I will be praying as well as giving thanks for you, although I feel as if I would be praying for an Angel. Be blessed

  3. I got my card Wednesday ( thank you so much ) they told me by Saturday morning I could go shopping. I have called and called and my card is not activated yet. I have a friend that went Friday and she’s got hers activated and shopping for food. Can you please help me? Thank you Michelle

    1. Michelle I would suggest that you visit one of the disaster help locations. I am not sure where you live but I do believe there are help centers in each of the counties.
