Free ABC of Dementia caregiver workshops are scheduled at the Suncoast YMCA from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 6, and 10 a.m. to noon on April 7, 2017.   Both events are free and open to the public.

Coping with Dementia LLC President Debbie Selsavage, who will conduct the workshops, explains, “Participants will learn the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, what to expect from this progressive disease, how to become a better and less-stressed caregiver, and what resources are available in Citrus County to families and caregivers for those living with dementia.”  She adds, “Each participant will receive a free handout summarizing workshop information.”

The Suncoast YMCA is located at 4127 W. Norvell Bryant Highway (County Road 486) Lecanto, Florida.  So that workshop planners may provide adequate space and materials, those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to 352-422-3663.
