Free Mask Distribution for Brooksville City Residents

On December 21, 2020, Brooksville City Manager, Mark Kutney announced to City Council that the Free Disposable Face Mask Distribution Program is ready for implementation.

Free disposable masks will be made eligible to residents within Brooksville City limits beginning January 4, 2021. Residents may obtain one free mask kit per household, with each kit containing six disposable masks.

All persons receiving free masks will need to complete the distribution log information of name and provide their city address; residents must be 18 years of age or older.

Distribution of the masks will take place at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, in Brooksville, from 9 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday, and will continue until supplies are depleted.

Funding for this program was received through the Hernando County Community Improvement and Safety Initiative funded by the CARES Act. Message Boards will be positioned throughout the City apprising residents of the pickup site.

Free Mask Distribution for Brooksville City Residents

This program encourages citizen to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The City Council supports the mask and social distancing guidelines and other recommendations as set-forth by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
