The Friends of the Community Centers, Inc. presented their annual donation of $3,000 to the Citrus County Meals on Wheels Program from the “Circle of Friends” Gift Shop proceeds.

The Friends of the Community Centers, Inc. operates the “Circle of Friends Gift Shop” located in the Citrus County Resource Center at 2804 W. Marc Knighton Court, Lecanto.  Each year this group donates proceeds from their sales to the Meals on Wheels Program to help feed more of Citrus County’s seniors. 

The donation is normally made in the month of March as part of the National Meals on Wheels “March for Meals” campaign.  Due to the COVID 19 situation, presentation of this check was delayed, but still very much appreciated. 

When the building is fully open again, come by and check out the great selection of gifts; the prices are reasonable and the volunteers who run the shop are friendly.  All purchases come in nice gift boxes and bags.
