‘Get Connected with Your Community’ Public Services Expo
Interactive, fun-filled, family event at River Ridge Middle School, March 2, 2019
Learn what your County can do for you! Pasco County’s Public Services Branch and the River Ridge Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association will host Get Connected with Your Community, a fun-filled, family-friendly event Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at River Ridge Middle School, located at 11646 Town Center Rd., New Port Richey.
“We’re proud of the innovative, customer-focused services Pasco County offers, and want everyone to know what’s available to them,” said Assistant County Administrator for Public Services Cathy Pearson. “Get Connected with Your Community is a great way to learn about our extensive program offerings in one place.”
The event will feature fun, upbeat activities throughout the day including:
- Bounce houses and music/DJ
- Touch-a-Truck featuring Pasco Fire Rescue and others
- Food trucks
- Pasco Sheriff’s Mounted Posse
- Special Appearance by Live PD’s Deputy Patrick Bingham & K9 Benco! (11 a.m. to noon)
Representatives from a variety of Public Services Departments including Human Services; Veterans Services; Senior Services; Libraries; Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources; Pasco County Public Transportation; Tourism; the UF/IFAS Cooperative Extension and more will be on hand to provide information on existing programs and new offerings.
