Great Americans Alzheimer’s Awareness Exhibit opens in Brooksville July 17

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on July 7, 2018

The Great Americans Alzheimer’s Awareness Photo Exhibit that began in the Floral City Library last October 2017 has spent the last month in storage after it left the Dunnellon Library in Marion County.

We thought the exhibit was going to take the summer off, but we did not feel comfortable not having it on display, so we went hunting for a location, and we are excited to say we found it!

The exhibit, featuring the portraits of 24 great American authors, artists, musicians, athletes, and politicians who have succumbed to Alzheimer’s and dementia, will debut in the Hernando County Library system on Tuesday July 17th, starting at the 238 Howell Ave, Brooksville, FL 34601.  Visit their website for hours or operation https://hernandocountylibrary.us/

A story about the exhibit recently appeared in Teepa Snow’s international Positive Approach to Care e-newsletter.  Click http://files.constantcontact.com/53c9860b201/8c31f2ac-371d-4f65-9cde-03a64da59b0d.pdf to read the story.

If you would like to display this wonderful educational photo exhibit, please call for more information at 352-422-3663.
