Groundbreaking Ceremony 5/31 for NPR Recreation & Aquatic Center Renovations
The City of New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center will be hosting a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the renovation of the Recreation and Aquatic Center on May 31, 2017 at 11:30a.m. at the Recreation and Aquatic Center 6630 Van Buren Street, New Port Richey. Refreshments will be provided and the public is invited to attend.
Located in the heart of New Port Richey, the Recreation and Aquatic Center renovations will include an expanded fitness center, indoor playground with free child watch for members, an additional multipurpose room, new entrance and streamlined member check-in. Completed in 2007, the Recreation and Aquatic Center renovations will provide the center with the needed updates to meet the demand of city and local residents.
The Recreation and Aquatic Center will remain open and operating with normal hours during the renovations. The public entrance to the complex will temporarily move to the north side entrance along with member check-in and the north parking lot will become the member/guest main parking area.
