Hernando CERT training rescheduled

The Community Emergency Response Team class that was scheduled to start on September 16, 2017 has been postponed due to the activation of the Hernando County Emergency Operations Center as a result of Hurricane Irma and the Withlacoochee River flooding that is expected this weekend.

The next class will start on January 10, 2018. Classes will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. every Wednesday until February 21, 2018 at the Emergency Operations Center located at 18900 Cortez Blvd. in Brooksville.

Applications must be submitted to Emergency Management Specialist, Dan Santana via email at [email protected] or mailed to the Emergency Operations Center, 18900 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, Florida 34601. Applications must be received by 5 p.m., on January 5, 2018.
