Hernando County Extension Piloting a New Master Gardener Class

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on June 2, 2017

Hernando Extension Master Gardeners are planning on offering  Master Gardener training this coming August, but trying something new this time.

Because it is difficult for many people to take off from work during the week for training, they will be offering this class on-line.

Students will meet one evening a week for a few hours for hands-on sessions, but all other lessons will be offered on the University of Florida’s Canvas E-learning platform.

Hernando County Extension Service is excited to be the first county in the state to offer training in the new format, and they are looking for Hernando County residents interested in receiving this advanced training.  It will include many aspects of horticulture and allow our organization to become more involved in the community.
