Hernando County Fine Arts Council Meeting Aug. 13
A meeting of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the Joseph E. Johnston, III, Council Chambers of the Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Ave., in Brooksville, Florida.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider issues pertaining to routine business matters of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council, including among others is an update of the study to explore the feasibility of a regional visual and performing art center.

All meetings of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council are open to the public and guests are welcome. The room is arranged to meet the safety recommendations for social distancing during the COVID pandemic.
Regularly scheduled business meetings of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council are held on the second Thursday of each month and at other times and locations as noticed. Members are appointed by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners.
The Mission of the Council is to encourage, promote, and support all the creative arts in Hernando County and provide a means to showcase the arts. The Council’s statutory responsibilities include identifying, creating, supporting, and enhancing all the arts as well as to develop a center or complex of physical facilities for use by the arts.
