The following Hernando County offices/services will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023 in observance of Good Friday.

Hernando County Office Closures in Observance of Good Friday

• All Hernando County Government Offices
• Animal Services

Normal business hours will resume for these offices/services on Monday, April 10, 2023 except for Animal Services which will resume on April 11, 2023.

Hernando County Public Library

All branches of the Hernando County Public Library System are closed Friday, April 7, 2023. The Spring Hill Branch and the East Hernando Branch will resume normal business hours on Saturday, April 8, 2023 and the Main Library and the West Hernando Branch will resume normal business hours on Monday, April 10, 2023.

  Transit Services (TheBus):

TheBus will operate as normal on Friday, April 7, 2023. Normal business hours will remain for TheBus on Good Friday.

  Hernando County Solid Waste Facilities:

All Hernando County Solid Wase and Recycling Facilities listed below will remain open for normal business hours on Friday, April 7, 2023 for drop-off; however, the administration office will be closed.

• Main Landfill: 14450 Landfill Road in Brooksville
• East Hernando Convenience Center – 33070 Cortez Boulevard in Ridge Manor
• West Hernando Convenience Center – 2525 Osowaw Boulevard in Spring Hill.

Republic Services and Hernando County Transit (TheBus) will be providing services as normal on Friday, April 7, 2023.
