Homosassa Springs Wildlife Puppeteers perform New Play September 9

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on August 29, 2018

In the Wildlife Puppeteers’ play, “Build a better brain”, animal puppets tell about the enrichment program at the Park.

The puppet characters include Lu the Hippo, Beary, Valentine the fox, Yuma and Sakata the panthers, and other animals.

Giving the animals treats and challenges to keep their minds sharp helps the animals, volunteers, and staff to learn about and appreciate each other even more.

Learn what enrichment is, hear from a world famous brain researcher, and enjoy hearing and participating in the songs in the play.

Whether you are very young or young at heart, there is something for everyone.

The play will be performed on September 8, October 13, and November 10, 2018, at 1:00 PM, in the Florida room (October 13 in the Magnolia room) of the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park Visitor Center on US 19. Admission is free.
