The vision for the revitalization of downtown Inverness is being celebrated this Saturday.

This Vision began many years ago and has come to fruition. The City of Inverness cordially invites the community to the Grand Opening Celebration of the Depot District, Liberty Park and Wallace Brooks Park.

Join the celebration on Saturday, November 16th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at 286 North Apopka Avenue to get a first-hand tour and to see the different locations available to rent for that special occasion or event.

There will be guest speakers, jazz and blues entertainment by “The Mudds” and Citrus High School will provide some instrumental music along the shoreline at Liberty Park.

The Citrus High School Volleyball team will be practicing on the new volleyball courts.

Visit the ROCCS exhibit at Wallace Brooks Park.
