Inverness Sertoma Announces Golf 4 Kids Tournament Winners

Inverness Sertoma 36th annual Golf Tournament “Golf for Kids” held at Citrus Hills Golf and Country Club, the Oaks Course on Saturday, November 21, 2020 was a day of golf and giving back to the community.

And the winners are 1st Place Team – Rick Worthington, Jamie Strickland, Danny Cole, and Mike Helvie, 2nd Place Team – Wayne Bardsley, Tony Williamson, and Carmine Rusaw, 3rd Place – Bob Postelli, Eric Avery, Brandon Avery, and Art Avery. Closest to the Pin – Bob Postelli and Longest Drive – Joel Seijas. Congratulations everyone! Congratulations to the winning foursomes!

Inverness Sertoma Club works hard throughout the year to give monetarily and with their time to Camp Endeavor, a 501c3 summer camp for deaf and hard of hearing children; Kids Deaf Baseball Camp at the Villages; Sertoma Youth Ranch which provides youth groups from all over Florida the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors at no charge, including physically and mentally challenged children.

And of course, the Club gives back right here in Citrus County in many ways including donations to local food pantries, the Inverness Boy Scouts and our Citrus County School District by adopting classrooms each year and providing funding for supplies.
