Julie Rouse, Second Grade teacher at Floral City Elementary was thrilled to be one of the recipients of the annual Inverness Sertoma Club’s “Adopt a Classroom” program. Each teacher selected receives a $100 donation for classroom supplies that enhance and expand the learning experience for their students.

The Inverness Sertoma Club adopts at least two classrooms in schools around the county each year, and since 1980 has awarded approximately $7,600.00 to deserving classroom teachers in Citrus County.
