Inverness Sertoma makes multiple donations to local causes
Inverness Sertoma Club has been busy. With a successful golf tournament under the club’s belt it was time to give back – and that’s just what we did. Many local groups, organizations and classrooms benefit each year from funds raised by your friends and neighbors who are club members of Inverness Sertoma.
December of 2018 and January 2019 were especially giving months with donation checks presented to:
- Citrus County Junior Achievement Program
- God’s Kitchen, Inverness Methodist Church
- We Care Food Pantry
- Family Resource Center
- Citrus County Blessings
The Club prides itself on keeping the dollars local and helping where we can, not to mention the work done to provide funding for free audiology screenings for infants and children. Requests come in year-round and club members are always willing to help.
Don’t forget to visit our booth at the Floral City Strawberry Festival in March. We will be grilling up some great food favorites and remember the money stays local, doing good for our community.
