By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on January 9, 2018

The City of Inverness announces its unveiling of the new Military Service Memorial by celebrated sculptor Scott Stearman. Stearman will be an event speaker, and will take part in the reveal. The lifelike bronze sculpture is of a male and female soldier that holds a piece of the fallen Saddam Hussein statue from Iraq brought back by U.S. military leaders.

The event will also feature Gary O’Neal, author of the American Warrior, the true story of a legendary Ranger, to speak. This event is free and open to the public. This memorial recognizes the service and dedication of all past, present and future military service members, and the City encourages all families to attend.
