Pet Adopt-A-Thon set for Saturday, August 19
The Pasco County Animal Services Department (PCAS) shelter is filled with adorable – and adoptable – cats and dogs. The summer months bring in more strays than average and PCAS needs to find these great pets their forever homes.
PCAS is joining NBC, Telemundo, and nearly 700 shelters all across the country for a nationwide pet adopt-a-thon. This major event will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 12:00-6:30 p.m. All of the pets will leave the shelter spayed, neutered, microchipped and vetted.
During this special event, PCAS is waiving all adoption fees.
Be sure to save the date and come out to the PCAS Adoption Center at 19640 Dogpatch Lane in Land O’ Lakes for this extraordinary adoption event. If adoption is not an option at this time, please help the cause by spreading the word. The more people who adopt, the more lives will be saved. Also ask about PCAS’ special training offer. It’s only $75 for six weeks and will set up a new pet for success.
The Pasco County Animal Services Department is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of animals and people. PCAS is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, including volunteer opportunities, please visit our website at: www.pascocountyfl.net/PAS.
