Saint Leo University Presenting Leadership Re-Imagined Webinar on Dec. 3

During the pandemic, one of the most used words in business is “pivot.”  The impact of market disruption has never been more real as is the need to adapt and change. To assist small businesses, Saint Leo University’s Tapia College of Business will present Leadership Re-Imagined:  Finding Strategic Flexibility to Power Through the Pandemic and Beyond from 7 to 8 p.m. (EST), Thursday, December 3. This virtual webinar is free, and it is Part 4 of the college’s Business Re-Imagined: Surviving the Pandemic webinar series.

Leadership Re-Imagined takes a closer look at how businesses are thinking and acting differently and why flexibility is an indispensable mindset.

Presenters are Dr. Drew Gold, associate professor of management for the Tapia College of Business, and Brian Quinn, chief development officer for Domio Inc.

Gold received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a focus on international finance and investments. He received his doctoral degree from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with a focus on strategy and innovation management. He worked in investment banking in London and New York City and consulted with companies in a variety of sectors and advised numerous start-ups as well as established companies such as Microsoft and Coca-Cola, on topics including financial, marketing, and strategic matters.

Quinn, a former Saint Leo University trustee, is a recognized leader in domestic and international real estate, travel, and lodging, with experience resulting in more than $2.5 billion in real estate growth across multiple public and private platforms. Previously, he was senior vice president of Development at Choice Hotels International, where he contributed to significant growth. He was also directly responsible for the success of the emerging markets and diversity ownership initiatives, achieving over 300 percent of the company’s 2019 goal.

Business owners, managers, and those interested in business are invited to join this free webinar to learn practical approaches on how to shorten planning horizons, cultivate lateral thinking, and leverage creativity and innovation to power through the pandemic.
