Debbie Selsavage, President of Coping with Dementia LLC and the Alzheimer’s Family Organization, will speak to the Citrus Business Network (CBN) on May 25, 2018 about the advantages of applying “dementia friendly” principles in running a business.  She reports that Citrus County already has more than 50 certified Dementia Friendly Organizations, which includes businesses, churches, and gated communities.

The CBN is comprised of local businesses in Citrus and surrounding counties that provide a variety of products and services.  Its purpose is to grow the business and profitability of its members by providing leads and referral information, sharing marketing ideas, and sharing services.  It encourages its members to maintain high moral values and ethical business practices to provide the highest level of professional service, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

The presentation on how CBN members can enhance these high standards through dementia friendly training and practice will take place a 7:30 a.m. on Friday at the Holiday Inn Express, 903 East Gulf to Lake Highway in Lecanto.  Interested parties and non-members are encouraged to attend.  For more information about the CBN or attendance at the weekly breakfast, contact Membership Director Barbara Engaldo at 352-228-8902 or Program Director Jacqui Watkins at 352-422-4770.
