Learn about Florida Bay Scallops at Local Lecture 5/19

Florida Sea Grant, UF/IFAS Extension Hernando County announces research scientist Dr. Steve Geiger from the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute will deliver a lecture on the Florida Bay Scallop along Florida’s Adventure Coast. Event will take place on Friday, May 19, from 7-8:00 p.m. at the Florida Department of Health in Hernando County, 7551 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill, Florida, 34606.

Event is free and open to the public. No registration required.

Florida Sea Grant is a university-based program that supports research, education and extension to conserve coastal resources and enhance economic opportunities for the people of Florida. We are a partnership between the Florida Board of Education, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Florida’s citizens and governments.
