Pasco County Parks, Recreation & Natural Resources is hosting its first cultural event series – Lectures on the Lawn – on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the newly-developed Starkey Ranch District Park.

The keynote presentation for this free, kick-off event features an overview of Spanish Florida’s rich and unique history, provided by University of South Florida historian Dr. Michael Francis.  Dr. Francis is world-renowned for his groundbreaking research on the founding of Florida and America and its relationship with Spain.
