Library upgrades to prompt temporary branch closures

The Hernando County Public Library System has scheduled the following temporary closures for new library branch upgrades:

Library upgrades to prompt temporary branch closures

  • Main Library – 238 Howell Avenue in Brooksville
    • Closed January 11 – 15, 2021
    • Reopens to the public on January 19, 2021
  • East Hernando Branch – 6457 Windmere Road in Brooksville
    • Closed January 19 – 23, 2021
    • Reopens to the public on January 26, 2021
  • Spring Hill Branch – 9220 Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill
    • Closed January 26 – February 6, 2021
    • Reopens to the public on February 9, 2021

Please note that the book-drops at all library branch locations will remain open for item drop during these timeframes.

If you have items on hold while the branch is temporarily closed, the item(s) will be held until reopening or you may call and have the item(s) sent to a different library branch for pick up.
