The Hernando County Public Library System announces that the Little Red Schoolhouse Bookstore, located at 1208 Kenlake Avenue in Spring Hill, will be closed beginning Monday, August 20 due to volunteers being temporarily unavailable. The bookstore will reopen on Monday, August 27.

The Little Red Schoolhouse bookstore is run by the Friends of the Library of Hernando County, FL, Inc., a group dedicated to advocacy and fundraising for the library. Profits from the sale of used books at the Little Red Schoolhouse Bookstore and other fundraisers support library programs. In the past five years the Friends have contributed more than $84,000.
