Credit and Payment Schedule:          

  1 Credit = 45-50 minutes of class time. 

1 Credit   $40/ 4 wk. period                    3 credits  $90/ 4 wk. period

2 Credits $70/ 4 wk. period                    4 Credits $100/ 4 wk. period  (additional credits are $25)

Art Classes are $50 per student per 4 week period. 

Private Lessons are $100 per 4 week period. (4 wks @ $25/wk for 25 minute lesson)

Dance

Adult Jazz (Luigi Technique) (1 credit) – A training program that promotes body alignment, balance, core strength, and “feeling from the inside”. Also used for rehabilitation. It is the world’s first standard technique for teaching jazz and musical theater dance… Wednesdays 10:00-11:00am Jane Geddings

Ballet (1 credit) – Ages 12 & up, American Ballet technique. A style of classical ballet, seeks to develop essential skills in dancers as well as strength and elasticity. Mondays 6:00-6:50pm  Andi Garner

Junior/Senior Acro (1 credit) – Ages 8-18, Works on tumbling, large motor skills, and traveling through space. Thursdays 3:00-4:00pm  Jane Geddings

Musical Theatre Hip Hop (1 credit)  – Ages 12 & up.  This dance class is geared towards Musical Theatre performers who would like to learn current technique used in many of the musicals that are on Broadway today.

Primary Level 2 Dance & Acro (1 credit) – Ages 4-6, An extension of Level 1 Dance & Acro class. Styled for increased flexibility, strength, speed, balance, coordination and endurance. Tap (1 credit) – Ages 12 & up, Techniques in Tap with emphasis on form and aspects of performance. Learning Tap gives ear training and learning complicated rhythm patterns. Mondays 5:00-5:50pm  Andi Garner

Drama

Acting (1 credit) – Ages 9-18, Students explore the art of acting through the study of various dramatic techniques including: perfecting the monologue, theatrical movement, developing your character, perfecting your audition, understanding sub-text, scene study and analysis, perfecting humor, acting for commercials, and more! Intro to Acting (1 credit) –  Ages 8-18, A four week class that covers basic elements of acting, terminology, proper movement, characterization, line expression, basic scene study, using humor, memorizing and delivering monologues, and more! Designed to prepare students for our Acting class, those who complete the course will be prepared to join the Acting class, and to audition for stage and video/film projects. Jr. Improv (1 Credit) – Ages 8-12  Students learn the art of improvisation both in speech and movement.  They will learn to think on their feet, to become confident in their actions and to go with the flow because in improv, anything can happen!  Thursdays 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm  Esprit Herbert

Sr Improv (2 credits) – Ages 12-18   Students learn the art of improvisation both in speech and movement.  They will learn to think on their feet, to become confident in their actions and to go with the flow because in improv, anything can happen!  Mondays  5:00- 6:30 pm or Thursdays 11:00 am- 12:30 pm  Esprit Herbert

Youth Theatre (4 Credits) – Ages 8-18, a performance based Musical Theatre class where students meet twice a week to develop skills in Drama, Music and Dance as they rehearse and perform in a one act musical theatre production on our Live Oak stage.  This class will rehearse and perform 3 musicals per year.  They will also be featured in Brooksville’s annual Tree Lighting. Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm (also weekend performances) Directors will rotate

Music

*Private Lessons are available for Piano, Violin (Strings), Voice, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Flute, Trombone and more! 

Music Appreciation (1 Credit) – is an introductory course to music theory, history and performance.  Students will explore music’s various functionalities in order to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for all types of music.  Mondays 4:00 -4:50 p.m. 

Chorale (1 credit) – Ages 13-Adult, Vocal Arts Chorale is an exceptional ensemble for male and female vocalists who are serious about singing. Music of many styles and languages will be performed. Thursdays 5:30-6:20 pm

Ukulele (1 credit) – Ages 13-18, beginners course in playing the ukulele. Schedule TBD depending on interest  Dave Shepard

Payment will be calculated on a monthly basis and will be automatically charged on the first week of the month in the months of September, October, November (November’s tuition covers 2 weeks in November and 2 weeks in December) , January, February, March, April and May.  Special arrangements can be made for those who wish to pay by check or cash with payment due by the first class of each month.   Classes may be cancelled or added up to 1 week prior to the first of each month.
