Local Restaurants Partner with Citrus County Meals on Wheels

Two local restaurants have partnered with Citrus County Senior Programs’ Meals on Wheels for a “March for Meals” fundraiser. Both the Inverness and Crystal River Applebee’s locations (located at 1901 W Main St and 200 N Suncoast Blvd) are offering to donate 10% of food and beverage sales made on Tuesdays in March between 4:00pm – 9:00pm. You must bring the attached flyer to take advantage of this offer. Homosassa Twistee Treat (located at 3834 S Suncoast Blvd) will donate 20% of sales made on Saturdays in March towards the Meals on Wheels program – just mention the fundraiser at the time of purchase.
