Merchants Celebrate Moms in Downtown New Port Richey

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on May 7, 2019

Sunday in the City is an opportunity for the community to experience downtown New Port Richey in a new way; a more relaxed, casual, family friendly day out around town. The next Sunday in the City will take place on May 12, Mother’s Day, and provides an opportunity for downtown merchants to spoil Mom’s with their unique gift and adventure opportunities. The public is invited to head downtown to shop, dine, explore, and experience all the City has to offer. Walking, biking, and golf carts are all great ways to reach the downtown district.

Merchants Celebrate Moms in Downtown New Port Richey

Two new businesses have opened since last month and are joining the growing list of businesses in downtown New Port Richey with Sunday hours.

CrossFit War Box (5761 Nebraska Avenue) is joining the Sunday in the City lineup and will be hosting Mommies and Mimosas, a 9:00 a.m. light workout, free for all moms, followed by free beverages and fun.

Wright’s Natural Market is bringing in beautiful, fresh flower bouquets and will have those for sale beginning May 8. The New Port Richey Art Scene artists will be hosting an art walk around the downtown area along Main, Grand, and Nebraska, and will be unveiling an interactive Mother’s Day art installation.
