From November 1 through November 30, 2020, McAlister’s Deli partnered with select Meals on Wheels America Member programs to participate with specified McAlister’s Deli locations as part of their Warming Up the Community campaign.

Mid Florida Community Services, Inc’s., Senior Services program, a member program of MOWA, received a portion of the funds generated from this campaign.  Mid Florida Community Services, Inc’s. (MFCS), Senior Services program offers a wide array of services designed to support aging seniors in their efforts to live independently and reduce hunger and isolation through services such as: nutrition education, access to meals through home-delivered meal options, congregate meal sites, and telephone reassurance, to name a few.

“I appreciate the support of MOWA and McAlister’s Deli. I look forward to seeing the good their contribution will do for seniors enrolled in our program,” said MFCS CEO Michael Georgini. “Older adults are such an important part of our communities. I am proud to serve them through our Senior Services Program in Hernando, Sumter, Lake, and Polk Counties”.
