Saturday, September 30 Florida BlogCon, the largest blogging convention in the Southeast U.S., awarded a Sunshine Blog Award to NatureCoaster.com for the Local/Events Category.

“The Sunshine Blog Awards feature the best of the best Florida has to offer in blogging and social media influencing. NatureCoaster.com represents this high standard for local events and Diane Bedard was recognized and rewarded for this by her audience and other influencers,” said Bess Auer, Florida BlogCon founder.

The Sunshine Blog Awards started in 2013 as part of Florida BlogCon’s goal to promote best practices for those in the blogosphere, recognizing leaders in the field. The Sunshine Blog Awards are sponsored by Your Southern Ford Dealers.

NatureCoaster.com has been attending the annual conference since 2016. This is the first time the online magazine covering Florida’s Nature Coast has been nominated for an award.

Nominations for each category were held in August, 2018 and NatureCoaster.com was voted as one of the top three Local/Events blogs in Florida.

Diane Bedard, an award-winning writer and publisher, began the popular blog in 2014, with it’s accompanying weekly e-zine going out every Thursday to over 2,500 subscribers and social media community.
