By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on May 10, 2018

Pasco County Public Services will host an informational neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the proposed homeless Navigation Center in New Port Richey.

The purpose of the meeting is to present plans for the Navigation Center to neighbors and business owners, and to provide an opportunity for feedback and questions.

The meeting will be held at the West Pasco Government Center, Board Room, 1st Floor, 8731 Citizens Drive in New Port Richey. It will be held from 6-8 p.m.

The Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County would operate the proposed Navigation Center located at 8239 Youth Lane in New Port Richey.

The proposed center would provide temporary housing (typically 4 to 8 weeks) for families.  The Navigation Center would also provide job training; resume building; financial literacy services; case management; and basic healthcare.
