New Art Exhibit Celebrates Black History Month

“This Is Our Story” at the Brooksville City Hall Art Gallery

The month of February is Black History Month.  At The Uptown Art Gallery we are celebrating the history of black America, with art and artifacts from the collections of several private collectors of Brooksville.

In addition to the many important artifacts there is a Doll Collection of Mrs. Mary Caleb on display here at the Gallery and at the Brooksville Branch of the Hernando County Library.

Enjoy a Gallery Reception February 15

There will be a reception for “This is our Story” on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM at the Gallery located.

The public is invited to come and enjoy this wonderful display of the arts and artifacts representing Black History throughout the years.

The Uptown Gallery at the Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, and is open to the public from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. daily except Holidays.
