The Hernando County Building and Zoning Department will implement new interim lobby hours at their office, located at 789 Providence Boulevard in Brooksville, effective January 19, 2021.

New interim lobby hours for Building and Zoning department

The lobby area will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The change in lobby hours will provide staff the opportunity to process permits, return voicemails and respond to emails until their offices close for the day at 4 p.m. A notice will be sent out when lobby hours for these departments return to normal.

A drop-box will be available in front of the office lobby for customers to drop-off permit applications and all other documents. Contractors can access the online system 24/7 to apply for permits and to schedule inspections.
