Spring Hill, Florida (February 11, 2020) – Oak Hill Hospital is particularly proud to invite the public to the grand opening of its 10-private suites Level II NICU and 60-private room expansion on Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 9 to 11 am at the North Tower of 11375 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida 34613. The public is welcome to a tour of the new NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and fourth floor North Tower. Light refreshments will be served.

The Level II NICU provides care for premature babies or babies who need extra care. The NICU consists of 10 private rooms for baby and mom to room together (when mom is medically cleared and discharged). It is a secured unit with secured remote viewing access should parents need to leave the NICU.

The NICU is located on the fourth floor of the North Tower and is under the direction of Raquel Ferreira, MSN, RNC-NIC (Registered Nurse Certified-Neonatal Intensive Care), Director of Women’s Services.
