Diane Bedard is an award-winning writer and member of Florida Outdoor Writer's Association (FOWA). She calls herself “Florida’s Original NatureCoaster,” having written about Florida's Nature Coast since 2004. She published Travelhost of the Nature Coast, a 54 page full color magazine, from 2004-2010. Today, Diane is the Publisher of NatureCoaster.com, an online magazine. Her writing credits include Gems of the Nature Coast and VisitCitrus.com, and is proud to contribute feature stories for the Hernando Times, Pasco Times, and the Hernando Sun.
Pat Manfredo has a gift for making "friends" with wildlife and photographing them. She resides on Florida's Nature Coast and generously shares an image daily with the NatureCoaster community. Captain William Toney
Captain William Toney is a 4th generation fishing guide and Homosassa native. He specializes in Red Fish, Trout, and Tarpon, to just name a few. His boat is a custom built 23' Tremblay Flats Boat powered by Mercury Outboards. Capt. William Toney is a full time guide. U.S.C.G. licensed, insured and member of the Homosassa Guide's Association. Award-winning outdoor writer, photographer, and artist, Sally White is an avid kayaker and spring hunter. Writing for 20+ years, her contributions are found in publications world-wide. A member of Florida Outdoor Writers Association, she enjoys exploring the wilder side of Florida and believes introducing families to the wonders of the outdoors is key to saving these natural resources for future generations. Kent Smith received seven state press awards in Florida and Colorado and the Chairman's Award from The New York Times during a 20-year career as a newspaper reporter, photographer and editor. Nominated for the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting on Nassau County Sheriff Laurie Ellis after he was imprisoned for trafficking cocaine. An avid golfer and World War II buff, Kent resides in Spring Hill, Florida with his five rescue dogs while freelancing for NatureCoaster Magazine.
Retired AF Aviator and Intelligence Officer, hiking enthusiast as well as hobby cyclist and kayaker. Active on environmental and community issues, a member of the Florida Trail Association, Rails to Trails of the Withlacoochee, and Nature Coast Ramblers.
Deanna Dammer Kimbrough
With years of public relations, broadcast, writing and communications experience, Deanna Dammer Kimbrough has a deep connection with Florida's Nature Coast. Deanna has produced, written and hosted talk shows, videos, news and commentary in Hernando and Pasco Counties and she has been a freelance writer and photographer for local newspapers. Her energy and spirit are apparent in her writing and we are proud to have her as part of the NatureCoaster team.
Debbie Selsavage is a Certified Trainer in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care and in 2015 launched her own company, Coping with Dementia LLC. Its mission is to make life better for individuals and families living with dementia. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and past-president of the Alzheimer’s Family Organization. She is also a Certified Positive Approach to Care Consultant, and in 2017, she was named a Citrus County Health Care Hero for public outreach.

Born in Washington, D.C., Barrett Hardy moved to Spring Hill on Florida’s Nature Coast in 1986. A student of history, Barrett has always been fascinated by local history and the stories of the men and women who lived it. He is currently a student at Pasco-Hernando State College and writes in his spare time.
Kate Spratt is a Park Services Specialist at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where she coordinates interpretative programming, public relations, marketing, and resource management. A native Floridian, Kate enjoys exploring all the Nature Coast has to offer, from hunting and fishing to horseback riding and photography.
Kathy Green is a boomer lucky enough to live in Old Homosassa. She travels throughout the Nature Coast and writes about her adventures on her blog, “Just a Slice of Life in Perfect” (KTGreenDesign.com). She also writes about sewing, quilting and gardening on her other blog, DesignsByKTGreen.com. In addition, Kathy is an active member of many of the Old Homosassa community groups and designs and maintains the websites for the Old Homosassa Heritage Council, The Homosassa Civic Club, Inc., and the Homosassa Arts, Crafts, and Seafood Festival.
