Diane Bedard is Florida’s Original NatureCoaster™. She published a comprehensive visitor guide to Citrus, Hernando & Pasco Counties from 2004 – 2010, and began NatureCoaster.com in 2014 to help visitors and residents find the best this area has to offer.
Diane is an award-winning writer, who crafts feature articles for NatureCoaster.com, as well as the Hernando Times, Pasco Times, and Hernando Sun. Her work can also be seen on CyberAngler and Gems of the Nature Coast, as well as Authentic Florida.com.

Susan Strawbridge is an accomplished watercolor artist who specializes in Florida’s natural wildlife. She is also the Park Specialist for Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and has been the marketing person for the park since before the State of Florida took it over.

Captain William Toney
Captain William Toney is a 4th generation fishing guide and Homosassa native. He specializes in Red Fish, Trout, and Tarpon, to just name a few. His boat is a custom built 23′ Tremblay Flats Boat powered by Mercury Outboards.

Kathy Green is a boomer lucky enough to live in Old Homosassa. She travels throughout the Nature Coast and writes about her adventures on her blog, “Just a Slice of Life in Perfect” (KTGreenDesign.com). She also writes about sewing, quilting and gardening on her other blog, DesignsByKTGreen.com. In addition, Kathy is an active member of many of the Old Homosassa community groups and designs and maintains the websites for the Old Homosassa Heritage Council, The Homosassa Civic Club, Inc., and the Homosassa Arts, Crafts, and Seafood Festival.19 Articles
Bruce and his wonderful wife Suzanne Gagliolo own “Dog Mania and Cats,” a large, fun-filled pet store in Dade City, Florida. Their store’s tagline is, “where pet owners scratch their itch,” and the store has a great variety of toys, training aids, specialty foods and gifts for the Nature Coast dog and cat owners who love their pets. Suzanne loves to help owners with her special diet dog and cat formulas to get the pets looking and feeling their best. Bruce also has a specialty advertising business in the store where you can get photos of your pet on just about anything your mind can conceive. Ed Caum has been professional photojournalist for more than 30 years. He is retired military and has considerable experience in non-profit and government operations. Ed’s combination of communication, marketing and sales skills allow him to promote destinations and businesses, both nationally and internationally.
Ed is currently working as a marketing and sales director for several small businesses on Florida’s Gulf Coast and is the photographer for TV host Ronnie Green on “A Fishing Story,” which airs on the World Fishing Network, Saturdays at 11 a.m.
He currently serves on two of Visit Florida’s committees, the Marketing Steering Council Committee and is Vice-chair of the Cultural, Heritage, Rural and Nature Committee. He has also served on the Salt Springs Alliance board for Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park for the past five years.
Ed is a graduate of multiple military leadership courses during his career and attended three County Leadership Programs, two in Indiana, and the Pasco County Leadership Program.
He is a currently a board member of the Pasco County Leadership Program and is a member of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association.1 Article
