Pasco County, in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will conduct a Public Hearing for the proposed improvements to Overpass Road between Old Pasco Road and U.S. 301, a distance of 9.0 miles.
The improvements affect the existing Overpass Road and Kossik Road segments and include the connection of these segments on a new alignment, and the addition of an interchange at Overpass Road with Interstate 75. The hearing will give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location and conceptual design.
The Public Hearing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at the First Congregational Church of Zephyrhills, 7900 Fort King Road, Zephyrhills, FL.
The Draft project documents and other project-related materials will be on display for public review beginning at 5:00 p.m. Pasco County representatives will be available beginning at 5:00 p.m., to discuss the project and answer questions. At 6:00 p.m., Pasco County representatives will begin the formal portion of the hearing, which will include a presentation and an opportunity for the public to provide comments. Following the formal portion of the hearing, the informal open house will continue until 7:00 p.m. You may attend anytime during the two-hour meeting to review project information and meet with project representatives.
