New Tuesday through Thursday hours take effect January 1, 2019

In an effort to continue offering premiere services while meeting operating cost needs, Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) is streamlining hours for its Adoption Center Tuesday through Thursday.

The following Adoption Center hours are effective January 1, 2019:

  • Tuesday through Thursday: 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (previously 6:30 p.m.)
  • Friday and Saturday: 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • The adoption center remains closed Sunday and Monday.

Note: An on-call Animal Control Officer is available for after-hours emergency services.

Pasco County Animal Services continues to offer innovative services including pet adoptions, reclaims, lost pet assistance, proactive spay/neuter programs, vaccinations, microchipping and more.  The nominal reduction in adoption center hours provides a cost-saving and necessary solution to allow this critical work to continue.

The Pasco County Animal Services Department is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of animals and people.  For more information, including a full list of programs and services, please visit our website at: www.mypasco.net/PAS.
