Pasco Boat Trailer info for July 4 weekend

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on July 1, 2016

Boat trailer parking will be limited at Pasco County parks over the July 4th weekend, as a record number of boaters are expected to hit the waterways.  With major parking improvements underway at Anclote River Park, and limited boat trailer parking available at Robert J. Strickland Park, it is recommended park visitors arrive early to find a parking spot.

“We want to keep the public informed of this temporary inconvenience caused by high attendance and the installation of a new, improved parking area,” says Natural Resources Division Manager Keith L. Wiley.  “The improvements being made will better serve Pasco County’s boating community for many years to come.”

Visitors should anticipate delays at both boat ramps due to the high volume of boaters expected.  Anclote River Park, located at 1119 Baillies Bluff Road, Holiday, Florida and Robert J. Strickland Park, located at 6345 Clark Street, Hudson, Florida are open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
