Pasco County Community Development Moves to New Location

Pasco County Community Development is moving!  Services are being relocated from New Port Richey’s Main Street to the Pasco County’s Public Services Complex at 8610 Galen Wilson Blvd. in Port Richey.  The offices will be closed during the transition, from Friday, October 4, through Tuesday, October 8, and will reopen at the new Galen Wilson location Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

We are very excited to be joining the Public Services Complex,” said Community Development Director Marcy Esbjerg. “This will allow citizens to access a variety of resources in one location and will enhance our collaboration with other county departments.”

The new office is the former home of Lighthouse for the Blind, following its recent move to a new facility on Ridge Rd. in New Port Richey.

Community Development looks forward to hosting an Open House in the near future for stakeholders and the community to explore the new facility and get to know the staff and programs.

Community Development’s mission is to improve the lives of Pasco’s citizens through homeless initiatives, neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing and community partnerships using state and federal funding. They offer assistance for new home buyers, current homeowners, as well as grants for community partners.
