Online portal features project history, overview, current activities and maps

Pasco County Engineering Services is pleased to launch the Ridge Road Extension Project Website.  This new site is a comprehensive portal for the latest information and updates about the road project being designed and permitted in western Pasco County and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE).

The Ridge Road Extension Project Website includes informative features such as:

The Ridge Road Extension project includes a new, 8.7 mile, four lane, median-divided roadway. Phase one will connect the existing Ridge Road to the Suncoast Parkway where an overpass has already been constructed.  Phase two will continue the connection to US 41 at the intersection of Connerton Boulevard.

The project is designed to improve east-west roadway capacity, which is critical for life safety in the event of an emergency or evacuation.  Traffic models have demonstrated that the Ridge Road Extension reduces Pasco County hurricane evacuation time by nearly 30%.
