Ribbon Cuttings to be held to mark Monday openings
Pasco County Libraries is excited to announce a partial restoration of operating hours at all seven library branches beginning Monday, October 16, 2017.
The Land O’ Lakes Library and the Regency Park Library will now be open on Mondays! Monday hours will be restored at all other library branches over the next three years.
In addition, all branches will now open an hour earlier, at 10:00 a.m., on their days of operation. All libraries will remain closed on Sundays.
“Restoring library hours was one of the Board’s priorities this past budget cycle,” said Pasco County Commission Chairman Mike Moore. “We are excited to give Pasco County residents more time to enjoy everything they love about the libraries.”
Ribbon-cutting ceremonies will be held to mark the new Monday hours at the following branches:
- Land O’ Lakes Library, 2818 Collier Pkwy, Land O’ Lakes
Monday, October 16 – 9:45 a.m.
Chairman Moore will lead the ceremony.
- Regency Park Library, 9701 Little Rd, New Port Richey
Monday, October 16 – 10:00 a.m.
Restoration of Pasco County Library hours is part of the FY 2017-18 budget, which the Pasco Board of County Commissioners approved Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
