Interactive, walk-through exhibit brings Civil War history to life

Watch Civil War history step off the pages.  Pasco County Libraries is partnering with local Civil War reenactors to create a free, educational and entertaining walk-through exhibit at the Hudson Regional Library.  Local historical interpreters will answer questions and provide demonstrations of 19th century life during the self-guided tour.

The Civil War Living History Event will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Rd Hudson, FL

“This is a unique opportunity to walk through living history and engage with knowledgeable and entertaining reenactors,” said Pasco Libraries Public Communications Specialist Bob Harrison. “Kids, families, and history enthusiasts alike will enjoy this experience.”

Union and Confederate military and camp life displays will include a life-size tent, weapon reproductions and soldiers’ gear.  Life on the home front will be represented with sewing and other exhibits.

This free event does not require a library card.
