Pasco County Libraries launches Hoopla App

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on January 14, 2017

Pasco County Library patrons now have access to hundreds of thousands of movies, music, audiobooks and e-books – thanks to Hoopla.  This new digital service allows library cardholders to download or stream more than half a million titles to their mobile devices, computers and televisions.

The Hoopla app is simple, intuitive and you don’t have to wait for content.  All titles are available for instant streaming using www.hoopladigital.com.  You can also borrow titles by downloading content through the mobile app to watch later.

Visit the Apple Store or Google Play to download the Hoopla app on your smartphone or tablet, or visit www.hoopladigital.com on your web browser.  Just select Pasco County Libraries from the list and enter your library card number and password to create an account.

“There is a rich variety of content on Hoopla,” said Pasco County Libraries Public Communications Specialist Bob Harrison.  “Titles include Hollywood blockbusters, full music albums, bestselling authors, and more.  Not just the hits, but hard-to-find works, as well.”

Library cardholders can check out up to 12 titles per month.  Movies and TV shows have a three-day checkout and music albums have a seven-day checkout.  E-books, audiobooks, comics and graphic novels have 21-day checkouts.
