South Holiday adds Mondays October 21; Centennial and New River to follow

Pasco County Library Resumes Monday Hours

Monday hours are back at all Pasco County Libraries branches beginning October 21, 2019.  The additional hours are part of the 2019-20 budget approved by the Pasco Board of County Commissioners, following a commitment to restore library services to pre-recession levels.

“Our patrons will have more access to everything they love about their libraries,” said Libraries Public Communications Specialist Bob Harrison.  “This comes at an exciting time with extensive renovations and improvements already underway to better serve our communities.”

Changes coming to Pasco County Libraries:

  • October 1: Centennial Park and New River branches close for extensive renovations
  • October 21: South Holiday Branch opens Mondays and adds Thursday evening hours
  • Summer 2020: Centennial Park and New River re-open with restored Monday and evening hours

Over the past two years, the Regency Park, Land O’ Lakes, Hudson and Hugh Embry branches have restored hours to include Mondays and some evening hours.  All libraries will remain closed Sundays.
