Board of County Commissioners appoints Jannina Elkin

Pasco County Names New GoPasco Transportation Director

GoPasco County Public Transportation (GoPasco) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new director.  The Pasco Board of County Commissioners officially confirmed Jannina Elkin as GoPasco Director September 6, 2022.

This is a homecoming of sorts for Elkin.  She worked for public transportation in Pasco County for 10 years, before heading to Hernando County where she served as transportation coordinator.

“I’m extremely excited to be back in Pasco working on transportation issues,” says Elkin.  “I look forward to the opportunity to lead, grow and make GoPasco a dynamic and premier transportation option for everyone who lives in and visits Pasco County.” 

Born and raised in Peru, Elkin moved to the U.S. in 1996.  Her 20 years of experience in the public transportation industry will help modernize and reorganize GoPasco.

“We’re thrilled that Jannina has joined our team to serve the people of Pasco County,” said Assistant County Administrator of Public Services Cathy Pearson.  “As Pasco is on the move, so is our team.  We’re certain she’ll lead GoPasco in the right direction!”
