Ivory (ID: 49789915) is a gentle, calm girl looking for a home where she can relax. This 7-year-old weighs about 50 pounds. She has a sweet, soft temperament and will give little kisses. A quiet environment and a set schedule would be perfect for her. Ivory has likely had a few litters, and now she wants to be someone’s baby! She walks beautifully on a leash and knows the sit, shake, stay and come commands. She also participates in playgroups with other dogs. Ivory did test positive for heartworms, and Pasco County Animal Services staff can discuss treatment options with you. Let’s state the obvious — Tiny (ID: 49053975) is not tiny! This 1-year-old, 65-pound girl still thinks she’s a lap dog, though. She is friendly, sweet and loves butt scratches. She sits on command and takes treats gently. Although she is generally easy to walk, she does sometimes pull. She could also use some work on jumping and being mouthy. Like many young dogs, she’s a bit of a rough player! Tiny has started participating in playgroups. She can be selective when it comes to other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is recommended if you have another pup. As always, slow introductions and careful supervision are the key to making doggy friends. In the right home, Tiny would make a loving, loyal companion.
