Pasco County Pet of the Week – Chelsea and Stock

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on September 13, 2022

Chelsea (ID: A000522) is a sweet, calm girl looking for the right match. This 6-year-old is the perfect medium size at just over 45 pounds. She walks well on a leash and participates in playgroups with other dogs, preferring those that are gentle like she is. Chelsea is a mild-mannered girl who may do best in a quiet home where she can relax. She did test positive for heartworms, and Pasco County Animal Services staff would be happy to discuss treatment options with you. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet Chelsea!

Looking for an affectionate pup? Three-year-old Stock (ID: A000030) may be your guy! This lovable sweetheart enjoys hugs and snuggles. He may be 60 pounds, but he thinks he’s a lapdog! He also has a playful side and loves to go for walks or play in the yard. Stock walks well on a leash, sits on command and takes treats gently. He previously lived in a home, where he was reported to be house-trained. He also does well with other dogs, preferring those that are gentle. However, he would do best in a home with adults only or older children. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet Stock, and you won’t regret it!
