Free rides in Land O’ Lakes area when service begins May 22, 2017

The Pasco County Public Transportation Department (PCPT) is pleased to offer a new bus route serving the Land O’ Lakes area beginning Monday, May 22, 2017.

“My fellow County Commissioners and I are committed to building a strong transportation network linking our citizens to jobs, government resources, parks, shopping, schools and other activities,” said Pasco County Board of County Commissioner Chairman Mike Moore.  “The new Route 41 is another example of that commitment.”

The new Route 41 will offer bus service to several new areas of East Pasco County.  Buses will run every hour – serving S.R. 41 from County Line Road to Central Boulevard and continuing along S.R. 54 to Collier Parkway.  Passengers will also be able to transfer to PCPT Route 54, giving residents in the Land O’ Lakes area the opportunity to travel throughout Pasco County.

To kick off the new Land O’ Lakes – Route 41, PCPT is offering free rides the first week of operation – from Monday, May 22, 2017 to Saturday, May 27, 2017.
