Pasco Extension Offering FREE Community Garden Plots
FREE plants included while supplies last at Dade City Watson Park
Get your green thumb ready! The Dade City Watson Park Community Garden, located at the corner of 19th Street and Main Avenue in Dade City, is leasing community garden plots free of charge for the upcoming fall gardening season.
Vacant plots are available starting Monday, September 17, 2018. Pre-planted plots featuring vegetables including peppers, tomatoes, radishes, carrots and beans will also be available. The vacant and planted plots are first come, first served and inventory is limited.
Free vegetable gardening classes will be taught on site to help beginners, as well as nutrition, wellness and composting classes. Free plants are available while supplies last only for those using plots in the Dade City Watson Park Community Garden.
